Dev Katta’s newest vapor ‘Prasthanam’ is a riveting family drama where envy and politics reign supreme. The premise of the page is so spellbinding that it makes you sensation if Dev Katta knew that he was riding a tiger! The picture starring Sharwanand, Saikumar, Sandip Kishan is set in the smidgen of Vijaywada, where politics, pursuit, corruption merge which break all laws. The single narrates the hearsay of a politician and the tough relations prevailing in his family.
Saikumar stars as Naidu, who rises from being a Panchayat President’s henchman to a MLA. Due to unforeseen circumstances he’s unnatural to marry his boss’ widowed daughter-in-law who’s already a mother of two, Mitra (Sharwanand) and another daughter (Surekha Vani). Few time after this matrimony, Chinna (Sandip) is intuitive out of this relationship. However, by then Mitra’s sister begins to hate her stair brother, still Mitra loves his new found family and promises himself to be a loyal supporter of his rung father. Almost 25 time later, Chinna turns into a furious offspring man, who hates being sidelined by his own family. How does this compound relationship overcome Naidu’s next life? How does Chinna trade with his suspicion and Mitra’s authority in politics? That forms the maintain of the tale of this brilliantly printed family drama.
The beauty of the movies trick in how well Dev Katta paints almost all his characters with a lot of hurt, anger and hope. In any fire the secret to great storytelling deceit in relating the deceit page by page to give a sneak peek into the characters’ lives. This is exactly where Dev Katta succeeds with speedy colours. The sharp relationship between Chinna and breather of the family members is established gradually. We open to understand the intensity behind his actions as suspicion consumes him wholly. It’s hard not to empathize with any of the characters especially that of Mitra, Chinna and Naidu in the haze. Mitra blindly believes everything his father tells him and he loves his brother, Chinna. On the other hand, Chinna is a spoilt brat who needs to be his father’s favourite son. So, when he finds Mitra being showered with all the expensive, his anger and frustration is fully truthful.
Mahesh Shankar’s background secure is brilliant in the video, however the same cannot be said for all the songs in the stick. Dharmendra’s hurtful is good in first half and could have been a lot better in the minute half. Sham Dutt’s cinematography is unusual in the coat. Especially the scenes shot with a tanned trail and night make have been amazingly picturized. Dev Katta requests to be commended for the grave storyline of the skin. Although there were few glitches especially with know to inclusion of songs in next half, it’s one of the most interesting family dramas written in bright annals. Dialogues in the veneer are noteworthy and there’s a lot of honesty in few defenses. Kudos to Dev Katta for extracting such violent performances from his chief cast.
Irrespective of the lethargic step or endless blabber as some would time it, ‘Prasthanam’ will continue as a good example of what the great terms and right casting can do to a video. It’s more interesting and captivating than most other biased dramas which have come out in present the life. Honestly, it would be a pity if such films are unseen for the sake of ‘entertainment’. Watch the mist for what it is especially for Sandip, Sharwanand and Saikumar. Two big thumbs up for ‘Prasthanam’ and three cheers for the trio, the three highest characters, the writing of the skin and Dev Katta.
